We are a sea tribe who paddle long boats in rough water conditions in the northwest of Spain.

Our playground is the chaotic frontier among the mighty Atlantic ocean and the ancient Galician coast, where it was said, in the ancient times, that the world ended and the maps showed terrifying creatures……

Rockgardens, ocean surfing, currents, cliffs, big swells, uninhabited islands, gale force storms………… Once you have been paddling between dragons, is not possible to paddle like a human again .

It is a one way trip.

The Dragons´ island: secret places, sacred stones.

Last weekend, THOD were having fun in one of our favorite playgrounds, a small and uninhabited island with numerous reefs.

Hugo was very happy wandering beaches in his first two days trip with the motorhome !!!

The sunday we were trying new locations for the cams on the boats and testing some new equipment.

The strong wind a the currents cause a very confused sea and the navigation is demanding  most of the times.

Since some months ago we are testing a new boat  (the gray one) for the first Galician sea kayak manufacturer: Not Normal Kayaks.
This prototype, called "Bad Boy", will be an all rounder kayak with hard core construction (as we can testify !!!!).
In few weeks you will be able to read something more about the "Bad Boy" in this blog.

Sometimes, the foam pile is like a wall, like a truck that runs over you !!!

We have called this island The Dragons´s island because of its rocky formations that look like giant dragon fangs

The seagulls, the cormorants and the big waves are the kings here during the violent winter but THOD can slip in among the rocks for some hours, paddle the best we know and enjoy all we can.

The bigest waves of the saturday arrived when Fugy was inside. He was hit time after time by the set while he was shouting: yeeee-haaaaaaa.... !!!!

In this pic, he is some meters over Berto and me.

and...................That´s all folks !!!
